Dr. May’s specialized interests include general gastroenterology, hemorrhoidal banding and endoscopic ultrasound. He personally enjoys running, fishing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Associations & Membership
Dr. May is a member of several professional organizations including the Digestive Health Partner’s Association, Buncombe County Medical Society, and the North Carolina Medical Society. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Education & Fellowship
Dr. May completed his gastroenterology fellowship and internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also obtained his medical degree from the University of North Carolina.
