Bio

Dr. Alexander came to Asheville in 1988 after an Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, followed by a fellowship and faculty position at the University of Utah. He is the current President and CEO of Asheville Gastroenterology Associates and practices general adult gastroenterology. His outside interests include fly fishing, guitar, and spending time with his wife and four children.
