Bio
Dr. Newcomer joined Asheville Gastroenterology Associates in 2000 after practicing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Newcomer is the head of continuing medical education activities at Asheville Gastroenterology Associates and initiated a monthly multidisciplinary conference reviewing educational patient cases. Additionally, he oversees the practice's colonoscopy quality improvement initiatives.
